Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data Flloat's Academy stores, for how long, and how you can export or delete it.
What we store
Your account (name and email, shared with the Flloat's website), your enrolments, lesson progress and orders. At sign-up we also store where you came from (the course and the UTM parameters of your first visit) and, if you tick it, your newsletter consent, with the date, IP address, language and version of the text you accepted. Sign-in logs include the IP address.
Newsletter and commercial communications
You are only subscribed to the newsletter if you tick its own box, which is unticked by default. You can withdraw consent at any time. In the current version, this consent also covers Flloat's commercial communications (about courses, offers and services).
How long we keep it
Enrolments and progress: while the account exists. Orders: 10 years, as required for tax purposes; when you delete your data they are no longer linked to you. Sign-in logs (IP and email): 90 days. Accounts created but never confirmed: 7 days.
Your rights
You can export your Academy data as JSON (portability, GDPR art. 20) and delete it (art. 17): deletion removes enrolments and progress and anonymises orders. Both are in My courses, under My data. The account is shared with the website and is not deleted here.
